Our History

Since 1990, Statewide Electrical Systems, Inc. has proudly served as a trusted provider of high-quality commercial electrical services to businesses throughout Florida. Established by Tampa native Steven Jones (pictured left) and long-time Field Supervisor Stefan Owens (pictured right), the company earned its reputation through exceptional craftsmanship and a specialized focus on dental office wiring.

After Steven’s passing in 2021, leadership transitioned to his son, Eli Jones, who has embraced his father’s legacy while driving the company into new markets. Under Eli’s guidance, Statewide has embarked on an ambitious expansion into the healthcare sector, broadening its expertise and capabilities to meet the demands of a dynamic industry.

In January 2025, the company welcomed Josh Miller as Chief Operating Officer. With over 15 years of experience in the construction industry and a proven history of successfully managing large-scale and multi-family projects, Josh brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the team. Together, Eli and Josh are steering Statewide toward new opportunities, positioning the company as a forward-thinking, dependable partner in Florida’s rapidly expanding multi-family housing market.
